#bgnow #diabetes BG is 99 long day going to bed. BG got up to 179 after then 2 hrs l8r was trending dn. I took no Novolog before dinner.

Red Rider Journal update
Today I had to get my day Termite to the vet so I did not have any time ride or workout. Tomorrow we will try again. Termite just had an upset tummy. He will be ok in a few days.

Journey of The Red Rider 8/9/09
Yesterday was a long day. I left Dulles airport at 8:16am had 1hr layover in San Francisco and then 1hr flight to Eugene got in at 2:30 pacific time. Once I got off the plan I met Kevin from San Francisco. 50 years old been type 1 for 40 years. We shared a shuttle ride to the campus where we met Eddy. Eddy had just come in from Ft myers Fl to play football for the U of O. Nice guy, Kevin and I wished him well and went on to check in to the dorm. Kevin got room 422 I got 415. (To be continued)

Journey of The Red Rider 08/06/09
Tomorrow is Thursday. Saturday morning I fly out to Oregan for the Diabetes Training Camp. The RAAM journey begins for real. I am looking forward to finding what has been missing in my life. True desire has been missing. I hope to cultivate that desire at DTC.

Journey of The Red Rider 08/04/09
Well here it is Monday night. This Saturday morning I fly out to Eugene Oragen for The Diabetes Trainig Camp. At camp I hope to build the foundations for the program I will need to reach my goal of riding in the 2012 RAAM. Good night all I will blog next from the plane.

Journey of the Red Rider 07/03/09
Well here it is 1:19 am it has been a long day at work. Trying to get more time on the bike. I will be riding at least 8 to 12 miles a day rain or shine and starting Saturday July 11 I will be riding 30 to 40 mile with riders from The Bike Lane. Good night all.
